New habits for the new year
One thing that is keeping me sane during these worrying times is a daily walk while listening to a podcast. I took this picture below on one of my recent walks in the woods near to my house. The light was just stunning!
The podcast I was listening to from Rangan Chatterjee’s “Feel better, live more” series was about “How to build good habits and break bad ones”. I guess that is one of the positive opportunities the current crisis provides. The disruption of routines allows us to reflect on our habits and develop more helpful ones. So, my phone is going to spend several hours a day in a different room from me and the book “Atomic Habits” by James Clear is moving to the top of my reading list.
